UPDATE: Our agency should be receiving referrals on Monday. They have a package scheduled to arrive on that day but can't be 100% sure they are referrals but most likely they are. No one knows the cut-off date so Monday will be the day we find out if we're in or if we're out. We're packing up the car tonight with lots of good food and wine and heading up north, thank goodness. Monday's going to be a hard day. We should know by the afternoon. We're very excited and very hopeful that our baby is on her way!!! We shall see...

It's a relief to know that referrals are on their way. It's not a relief not knowing if we've made the cut or not. If the referrals start arriving in Europe today then it could be a very telling day. Since they are 8 hours ahead of us, they get the referrals first. So, if Europeans with a Nov. 2 Log-In-Date start reporting that they got their referral then we can safely bet that we'll get ours too. The CCAA's website also shows the cut-off date each month but they usually don't update it until after we've already figured it out (I swear they do this on purpose to make us crazy). In rare instances they do it on time and we can find out that way. Considering it's Friday evening in Beijing right now, I don't think it will happen. The last way we can figure out the cut-off date is simply by waiting for our agency to actually open the package of referrals and tell us point blank if we're in or not. That would mean that we'd have to wait until Monday or Tuesday for that and of course I'd much rather know right NOW.
I'll update what I hear/read throughout the day but I'm going to try and get out of the house as much as possible and away from this computer...

i'm following the RQ forum and it sounds like monday you'll know more, eh? could you find out by sat?? OMG=that is incredible! I'm waiting and watching...stay sane while you wait. sigh.

Will you have your computer with you to check in or do you leave all that behind? Monday is the day! OMG-It will be long weekend for us all wondering what that cut off date really is. Just in case you can read this, I think it looks good that 1-2 days of Nov. will be included, but I'm worried of all the "glitches" and that even so, you could be missed. I can't stand the not-knowing!! Have a great time at the cabin & relax...Emily

The Joys
Hi again, I had to share with you...today, while deep cleaning the girls room, I found a ladybug on the curtain at the top & a wooden lady bug button in their bed while I was making it. It was wierd because these aren't things that I've seen/found recently. I hope that it truly is the sign that good luck is on it's way for you guys! A whole lotta families are going to be getting the greatest news of their lives early this week--what an amazing gift! And to think that this happens EVERY month! Still thinking of you--Emily XOXOX
