We also strolled through a mall that was modern and had a lot of stalls but was mostly women's clothing. Here's George browsing the knock-off watches.
We spent the rest of the day by the pool which was wonderful. I knew the air quality would be poor but it's so much worse. Sitting by the pool I kept taking off my sunglasses thinking the lenses were smudged until I finally realized it was my eyes there were coated with dirt and grime. The pool was gorgeous and a great way to take it easy after such long travels.
We see so many babies with their parents or grandparents and they are all so cute, it's making us crazy waiting for Magnolia! We saw lots of kids in their split pants and one grandmother run out of IKEA with her granddaughter and squat in the gutter on the street. Seems very efficient to me!
The crib was delivered today along with a baby bathtub, baby soaps, lotions, and pampers. Wow! We have Westin robes and slippers we can lounge in and they also brought a baby Westin robe! We also got "Barbie adopts from China." It's an actual Barbie doll holding a Chinese baby. All Americans receive this when adopting, thanks to Mattel. It's the only way you can get this Barbie. I think I'm more excited about this than Magnolia will ever be. :)
Sorry for such boring pics, soon we won't have to post so many inanimate objects. :)
I don't seem to have full access to blogging so I'm not able to respond to your comments, please know we are reading them and enjoying everyones excitement! Keep em coming!
Tomorrow we may head off to Shaimen Island to do some serious shopping for years to come for Magnolia. Can't wait!

Hi Lucy, Hi George, from Tom, Christine & Charlie. Your blog posts are very exciting and descriptive, It all sounds so very exotic, which of course it is! It sounds like you have survived the flight as well as possible, hopefully your land legs come back to you quickly. Everything here on Hidden Creek is uneventful, and still very dry we are waiting for promised rain. I was relieved to see George mowed before you left :P JK. We went for a walk last night and stopped to talk to Deb with Grant and Jillian, in Jeff and Michele's driveway, and you guys were one of the topics of conversation. We are all thinking of you and eagerly awaiting your safe return, and of course are on pins and needles to meet Magnolia, and welcome her to the neighborhood. Bring her on over for a swim when you get home. You are very much in our thoughts and prayers. Gam Bei!
Peace & Love
Tom, Chris and Charlie
