Photos!

Her first baby food feeding, prunes!
Her first bath! They only wiped her down in the orphanage, she was mesmerized by the water.

There's that dimple!

Heavenly crib, who needs that?! We love to sleep together.
Uh oh, where did Mom go?
And she's off to come and find me.
It's our morning now, we're up. Magnolia is bonding with daddy now, they're singing lullabies. She slept through the night, from 7pm to 6am only waking once to whimper. We gave her more Tylenol and she was back to bed. Today we're going to the police station to apply for Magnolia's passport! We introduced her to the pool yesterday, only putting her feet in, she loved it! If she's feeling better we're going to take her in today. They've only given her bottles in the orphanage, a sludge like mixture of rice cereal and formula with big holes cut in the nipples so it can pass through and it make it a quick feeding in an orphanage with many babies. We're so happy she sucks her thumb because that means she's developed some muscles in her mouth, which is very important for her speech development in the future. Better go, we have her in the tub and are dying for some breakfast. We're going to try to give her some congee, a cooked down rice mixture that is often given to babies here. We'll let you know how that goes!
More later. Much love to everyone. We LOVE reading your comments.

I am in awe! I look at Magnolia all day at work and then as soon as I come home! I have even started to look at her right before I have to have my injection and her image seems to take some of the pain away. Amazing! She is an angel and seems madly in love with her mommy and daddy! I love all three of you so much! Love, Elizabeth

Luckily I spoke with Elizabeth when I got in this evening and she told me the pictures were up!

Magnolia must have been your's in another life. She just seems to be so utterly contented with you. I was thrilled to see her sleeping alongside her Daddy, and most anxious to know that her Mommy has been sleeping.

Can't wait to hear about upcoming adventures...

All of my love,

Momla

My husband's aunt just adopted a little girl (Claire) from China this year, so reading all of this is very familiar to me. Claire is 2 now and is still having problems eating baby food. You guys are lucky that Magnolia is adjusting so well. Love the pictures!

Ok, you guys-in my research to track Magnolia down, I found another family's blog with a GORGEOUS picture of our one & ONLY Miss Magnolia June Ling Judy!

Yes, I did.

Copy & paste the above link into your browser & you should find her precious face. :0)

Lucy & George--I know that you are having an amazing time! I search Olyvia & Lucy's sites hour by hour for any updates. Sleuth you say? Nosey? Hardly, just a HUGE FAN of Magnolia!

Love & kisses to you all. Please send more photos! ~Emily
