Our exchange student, Cici, asked me to throw her a birthday party which I told her I absolutely would!
She decided on a theme, Plaid and I helped her get started on making invitations which she said she had never done before but loved doing.
Then we went to a chinese restaurant downtown and she placed her order for the food she would have.
I made her favorite brownies that I make and put out snacks and drinks.
I showed them out to sync up with our stereo so there was plenty of loud music.
My kids were in awe of this big kid party and many of the other exchange students that were there (20) played with the kids, arm wrestling and uno.
At the end of the night, Cici told me it was the best party ever and when the cake was served she brought me the first plate and gave me a big hug. She was so sweet and so fun. It was a great experience having her.
