Nope, we got a cargo van and we're heading up to the lake house tomorrow. This is the final "moving" trip up there. This is only half the stuff that's ready to be packed, we have a queen mattress arriving today and all the patio furniture too. It might be a challenge getting it all in there, yikes! George, as usual, finished his project in good time. The trundle beds turned out adorable. My wing back chair, on the other hand, is still sitting in my sewing room half finished.
Ferry schedule to the island is still limited so we are getting only 24 hours at the house. We are going to try to work nonstop unloading, painting, and putting in the new shower.
Next week should be a little more eventful in the adoption world. Rumors should start coming in on what the cut-off date will be and when they will arrive. I really don't think we'll have any idea if we're in or not until that very day. We are truly on the line. It's very exciting and nerve wracking all at the same time! Stay tuned...
