Home Again Home Again

What a weekend! Only 24 hours on the island and man did we get some stuff done. After unloading the cargo van, we loaded it up with the demo'd kitchen and bathroom and took it to The Island Exchange a.k.a. the dump. It was a beautiful day. I took the above photo on the drive to the dump. In the field next to us were two huge sand cranes. I just love the simple beauty of the island. George got right to work painting one of the bedrooms.
Then he painted the bunkhouse.

Every now and then when we are leaving on the ferry from the island we get to see the "Seediver." I am fascinated by this vessel. The plywood doors, the seagulls that perch on it, and the sheer fact that someone is actually inside of it. It's like something out of a movie.
This should be an exciting week with adoption rumors...stay tuned. I'll try to keep the blog updated with what I hear.
