We've already had over a foot of snow here in the northwoods. It's really beginning to look a lot like Christmas. I'm excited for the holidays this year, for the first time in a long time. I have a lot to be excited about. Magnolia is loving all the Christmas stuff, we have a baby on the way, and we are having Christmas at home for only the second time ever in our marriage! We have Christmas music going all day long and we've been baking entirely too much. Christmas cards went out. Now I have to finish my Christmas shopping!

The snow is beautiful! I am jealous :) That is great that you are staying put for Christmas! Gives you more of a chance to relax and enjoy everything!

Could you come here and bake and then shop for me? Thanks!

I love your pictures and the way that you write. It is so great to read your blogs everyday! I miss you and hope that I can come visit you all soon...well, maybe in early summer when there is no snow...I've done that drive far too many times in the snow and cold. I'll talk to you soon. Love and Miss you!

Christmas at your own home sounds heavenly.....sometimes with the hustle and bustle you lose the sentiment of the day and before you know it, it has passed and you didn't get to truly enjoy it!!

Everything looks beautiful.....you do have an incredible eye for decorating.

Have fun baking and shopping....we are hoping to get to some baking this weekend too:)

It went good! I ended up making boring cookies because when I went to the grocery store, they were out of the Dutch Process cocoa, pepp extract AND parchment paper. It was a blizzard so I did not feel like going on a wild goose chase :)

I love how I feel like I can smell how good your house is just from the pictures - fresh evergreen, baking cookies, etc....Magnolia is a lucky girl!
